Ik9 was formed out of a management team that worked for Crime Guard.
Three of the team wished to pursue different goals so we formed the company to specialise and concentrate on dogs and anti/counter terror.

We have extensive experience in the front line security and negotiating National contracts, with an expertise in delivering what we say we will. Our passion has been and is to prepare for the coming demand for the specialist dog units.  We have purposely spent time getting the business ready to launch a campaign for both explo and the highly trained Security dog units, we are spending long hours and money to train all our staff. We have negotiated in the recent past, and succeeded with The Olympics, Comet, Power Station, and Homeland Defence in Texas as well as other well known companies. Our people are training to the ACPO standards and will all undergo the required refresher training each year as well as constant testing. Our team provided Security and an explo dog team on stand by for a ten day period while the Power Station was under attack from the camp for climate change we managed to keep the station safe and liaised with The Police Gold Command and all our team received a commendation from the station manager.

I currently have sole responsibility for International K9 Consulting Ltd

My duties and responsibilities include:

Preparation and dispatch of all customer invoices
Preparation and dispatch of all supplier invoices
Reconciliation of all bank accounts
Maintenance of all VAT records including final presentation of VAT returns to H.M. Customs and Excise
Production of payroll and handling of any employee’s payroll queries
Liaison with existing customers including problem management when required
Liaison with potential new customers usually involving personal visits to their sites
Providing management information as and when required (utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel or Publisher as necessary)
Production of final accounts to the company’s accountant
Petty cash management
Liaison with all personnel within the company including recruitment of new staff and disciplinary action of existing staff when required
General running of the office
Promoting a flexible approach to delivering business requirements
Responsible for implementing all policies and procedures
Was responsible for getting the Company through the SIA Accreditation
Helped with the co ordination of Project Harmony
Implements all training for Staff and Management.
